Cynthia M. Nolen, CMT
Cynthia has been doing Massage and Energetic work since 1992, maintaining
a successful private practice in Madison, Wisconsin.
She is a trained and skilled therapist in Emotional Release, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Muscle Energy, Polarity Therapy and the use of therapeutic grade essential oils and flower essences.
An experienced teacher, Cynthia has taught for over 25 years and has been teaching massage therapist and bodyworker classes since 1998.
She served as Western Curriculum Director and lead instructor at East West Healing Arts Institute in Madison, WI. for five years. Earlier, she taught at A SpiriTouch Institute. She has worked as a CranioSacral Therapy teaching assistant for The Upledger Institute, and Blue Sky Professional Massage School.
Cynthia develops classes for practicing massage therapists and community members that combine diverse bodywork modalities while incorporating intuition as a way to unlock the tension that our bodies hold.
Cynthia is devoted to sharing her broad knowledge and expertise through classroom and individual teaching sessions.
In addition to her private practice and teaching, Cynthia is a Bodywork Therapist with UW Integrative Medicine. For the past four years she has offered massage at UW Hospital in the Comprehensive Cancer Center with In-Patient Services and Pediatric Oncology. She is currently a therapist at the UW Clinic located on Science Drive.
Cynthia is a Wisconsin Licensed Massage Therapist (985-046), and a member of the Associated Bodyworkers and Massage Professionals and the American Polarity Therapy Association. She is a 1993 graduate of Blue Sky Professional Massage School and a 2010 graduate of the Ohio Institute with an RPP in Polarity Therapy.

Directions
From East Washington, turn on to 2nd Street. At stop sign turn a hard right and continue to 2nd stop sign. You will now be on the 1 way portion of Atwood Avenue. Drive for approximately 1/2 block and turn right into the parking lot behind a brick building that looks like an apartment complex. Park in this lot and walk through the courtyard and enter the building. CaringHands is located in Suite 7. Signs are posted to help guide you to the office.
